Homemade Lemonade

I am very much a person that if I can make it I don't have to buy it. I am frugal when it comes to things. Personally, I think it's so much better when you can make something homemade. I know what goes into it and I'm not guessing whether or not is gonna be bad for me like a soda drink or some processed pop. Lemonade is a wonderful alternative drink that is refreshing and so, so easy to make and it will only cost you pennies (if pennies were still around). So here is what you need to make this

.Ingredients

4-5 lemons or 3/4 of a cup of concentrated lemon juice
1 cup sugar
2 litres of cold water
lemon slices (optional)

I normally make it without the lemon slices as I do go through a lot and if I want to fancy it up with guests I can, for every day I don't bother.

So, cut your lemons in half and extract enough juice to give you 3/4 of a cup and pour into a jug or pitcher that is large enough that will hold 2 litres of water.  Pour in your sugar and add 2 litres of water. Stir well and refrigerate.

That's it! It's that simple and oh so good.

Enjoy!
